Maskbro (actually named Duncan. But maskbro will do) up there is the character I'm developing. He has a face, but I'm working out designs and colors for his mask.

This is the first character of mine that actually has something of a backstory and personality. I've had the idea of him for a while (I think I actually came up with him for Hetherev, then scrapped that idea when I realized I'm too incompetent/lazy to do anything like a comic), but only just began actually drawing him as a whole. I really need to practice human anatomy some more.

His name is Duncan, which roughly translates to "brown warrior" in Gaelicised Latin. Plus, I've always like that name.

The story I've come up with is pretty freaking dark. I will probably revise it before calling it finished.

The other creatures here are unrelated. The top one is my Dobhar-chu. The bottom one is a creature concept I've been doodling on my Art History notes lately.

Hello Duncan. At first glance, I thought that his mask would remain blank and would change to one of the four expressions on the right whenever he had to emote. :/ I spent a good five minutes trying to designate which emotion belonged to each mask, then actually read the description. XD Oops!
